5 Things I'm Loving This Week

5.)  Hint Of Pink

4.)  Union Pacific Railroad
This last week I was a part of Iowa State University's first annual Union Pacific case competition.  The experience was great and I truly learned so much.  I am so ready to do another case competition or just talk to any company executives!  The executives we met with from Union Pacific were awesome, especially our coach Sam!  She was just so positive and upbeat it was just fun to be around her.  Union Pacific is a great company and is trying to do a lot of positive things-I hope no matter what my career choice I make choices in my future that support America's railroads.

3.)  Aunt Maude's Restaurant in Ames, IA

All the participants in the Union Pacific Case Competition had the privilege of going out to eat at Aunt Maude's with Union Pacific executives.  This was probably one of the best dinners I have had in a LONG time!  Not only was the food was just amazing!  I had the salmon with grilled veggies and for dessert their creme brulee. YUM! But also my table (comprised of my team (Cyclone Steam), our teams Coach Sam, my amazing professor Dr. Wong, and Iowa State University's College of Business event planner Elizabeth) just had amazing conversation! 1.)  HOPE
This week I've had a lot of great job leads for after graduation, some that I am very excited for and perhaps when I write 5 Things I'm Loving This Week next week I will have some updates for you all.  But being so close to graduation and getting these leads has just made me so excited for the future and my hope of a great one has be restored! :D I know that I am going to be a great asset for any company and I am excited to see where God leads me/which company!

5.)  Better Oats MMM...Muffins Blueberry Oatmeal
In my quest to eat healthier I've come across a gem! Everyone loves waking up to hot, fresh muffins for breakfast and this oatmeal gives you that same delicious blueberry muffin taste! It's very healthy and nutritious with 100% whole grains, fiber, flax seeds, omega-3s, and real blueberries! YUM!

4.)  Petrichor

This week I learned the word for the smell after rain-one of the best scents in the world!

3.)  EOS Lip Balm

EOS Lip Balm is an organic lip balm with a unique sphere container.  They launch special editions and holiday flavors throughout the year and right now their Spring/Easter edition includes Strawberry Sorbet and Passion Fruit.  It is amazing and would be perfect for Easter baskets! YUM!

2.)  Elders

This week I had a conversation with an elder women on the phone and she was just the sweetest thing in the world. Her voice could have cured cancer I swear! I loved our conversation and I hope when I am her age I have her heart and her peaceful voice!

1.)  Quebec City

La ville de Québec or Quebec City is one of the most romantic cities in North America. It is a buzzing French-influenced Canadian city which blends the best of old and new, with its winding cobblestone streets, its 17th and 18th century stone houses and churches, its industrial-chic hotels and its classic cafes, bistros and boutiques. This is the closest thing to France in North America. Très romantique!
