5 Things I'm Loving This Week

5.)  THE NEW TJ MAX IN AMES
So I love finding awesome things for my condo at TJ Max.  I recently checked-out the new location in Ames and was super impressed.  The layout is great and I had a great experience! :D

4.)  This Idea to Organize Your Planner
Marking multi-day project with various colored tapes and writing over them to label.  Now you can smile when you look at your planner/organizer rather than get overwhelmed!  This is genius!

3.)  French Macaroons
Macaroons are delicious and adorable! My fiance and I are big fans of almond so, I'm hoping to incorporate them into my wedding cake! I have a few ideas but, you'll have to wait till after Sept. 21st to see!

2.)  The French Language
Because my fiance and I are having a destination wedding in Quebec City, Canada,  which is predominately French speaking, we are trying to learn French. It is such a beautiful language and its been a lot of fun quizzing each-other every time we can.  We are definitely not fluent yet, but we're getting closer. Je t'aime Jameson!

1.)  It's a Brad, Brad World
It's a Brad, Brad World is a documentary television series on Bravo.  The show follows Brad Goreski as he works as a personal stylist for huge celebrities.  Brad and his staff just crack me up and I have also learned a lot about fashion and designers...gosh I really want to move to LA and go shopping!

5 Things I'm Loving This Week

5.)  essie: Punchy Pink Nail Polish
I absolutely love getting my nails done-it just makes me feel all put together!  I highly recommend Grace Nails in Ankeny, Iowa-they always do an amazing job as well as provide hilarious entertainment at times.  However, on a college-student's budget I can't go to them as often as I would like. When I do go to them I always pick the same color, (why fix something thats not broken? plus I'm a little obsessed) neon pink.  I've been searching for a department store polish that would come close to what Grace Nails' has but bottle after bottle I've been disappointed the color never stays bright. Until I found essie's Punchy Pink! It's gorgeous and bright!

4.)  Three Dog Bakery
Anyone who knows me knows that I absolutely love my dog, Lorelai Gilmore (yes, she is named after my favorite show Gilmore Girls and yes, we call her Rory for short).  I spoil Rory when ever I get the chance...in fact she is the reason I don't get to go to Grace Nails as much as I would like.  I have tried many different dog bakeries that make homemade treats, however, the only ones she likes are treats from Three Dog Bakery in Des Moines!

3.)  FUN.
I have always been a huge Mumford and Sons fan, in fact they were the first band I ever got crazy about.  As a young girl I never got into the Backstreet Boys or Nsync craze.  I still love Mumford and Sons like crazy-seeing them in a live concert on a mountain in Aspen was an amazing experience.  However, I have recently turned into a huge fan of the band FUN.  Their music is fresh and meaningful-doesn't get better than that!

2.)  BIG BOLD Necklaces
I am absolutely in love with the curtain fashion trend of big, bold necklaces! I just wish they didn't cost $30 a piece...I can only afford one-and I wear it with everything, I'm sure my peers are tired of seeing it almost every other day.  Heres to getting a career that allows me to buy endless bold necklaces.

1.)  Color of the Year:  Emerald
I know I'm a little late on this, with it being the beginning of April and everything, but I think the choice of emerald green for this years color of the year was an awesome choice.  I am presently trying to find some amazing emerald heels!
